Playoffs!

It's playoff time in most leagues, so congrats to those who made and too bad to those who didn't. Only 3 1/2 more weeks until fantasy is over, so the season is rapidly progressing. A tip for those of you in the playoffs, stack up your starters because there are no more byes, but injuries can still happen.

Free Agent Finds: Week 8

Here are are picks for week 8.

Theo: Didn't have time to explain

Rashad Jennings RB, Jaguars:

Johnathon Dwyer RB, Steelers:

Brandon Weeden QB, Browns:

Ryan Tannehill QB, Dolphins:

Golden Tate WR, Seahawks:

Adam:

Carson Palmer QB, Raiders: Palmer has scored 14 points every week, except one, and I expect him to continue doing that well.

Lance Moore WR, Saints: Last week Moore had a great game. I think he should have another one with Drew Brees throwing to him.

Vick Ballard RB, Colts: Read; Free Agent Finds: Week 7. Browns defense with Titans defense, both bad.

Sam Bradford QB, Rams: Let me quote a fantasy expert from ESPN. "If you're a living, breathing QB and you're facing the Patriots, you're worthy of consideration." I agree with him. Enough said.

Heath Miller TE, Steelers: Miller has been producing all year, and he should continue against the OK Redskins D. The only downside about him is that the Steelers have him block too much.

Free Agent Finds: Week 7

Here are this weeks free agent finds:
Adam

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bills QB: The first four weeks, Fitzpatrick scored well, but the last two weeks his production dropped. This week against the Titans pass defense (29th in the league) expect him to do as good or better than he did the first few weeks.

Vick Ballard, Colts RB: Ballard has been a backup all year, but with Donald Brown out, his production has increased. This week he'll get even more carries against the Browns rush defense (25th in the league).

Domenik Hixon, Giants WR: Hixon has been on the rise. His production has been increasing lately with Hakeem Nicks out. Even with Nicks coming back fully this week, Hixon should still get plenty of targets against the Redskins receiving defense (last in the league).

Lawrence Tynes, Giants K: Tynes has been the best fantasy kicker in the league so far this year, and expect that production to continue. He'll get plenty of chances to kick since the Giants are playing the Redskins defense (27th in the league).

Mike Williams, Buccaneers WR: All season, Williams has been a top target for Josh Freeman all year. This week expect him to continue getting plenty of targets against the Saints receiving defense (27th in the league).

Theo:

John Skelton, Cardinals QB: Kevin Kolb and Skelton have been fighting for the starting spot for almost 2 years. Now with Kolb out, Skelton will break out and earn the starting job. Expect big yards against the 23rd rank Viking's pass D.

Felix Jones, Cowboys RB: Cowboys starting RB DeMarrco Murray is out. Felix will have plenty of rushing attempts against the 28th ranked Panther's run D.

James Casey, Texans RB/TE: Since you can play Casey in RB/WR/FLEX positions, he is a good options. I predict that he will have 30-40 rushing yards and 50-70 receiving yards and 1 TD. That could be a total of  17 points.

Broncos D/ST: The Broncos are the third highest scoring D/ST this year. They have a good pass D lead by Champ Bailey so they should be able to shut Drew Brees down this week.

Darius Reynaud, Titans WR/RB: Darius will have a big game with veteran QB Matt Hasselback throwing. Darius might get his second return against the week Bills ST.

Free Agent Finds: Week 6

Every week we will each give five or more players that we think are good players to pick up. Here are this weeks' picks.

Adam:

Brandon Gibson WR, Rams: With Danny Amendola out with an injury, it's Gibson's time to shine. It also helps that the Rams are playing the measly Dolphins pass defense this week.

Jeremy Kerley WR, Jets: He's been a surprise standout in the Jets' offense. As long as he has Mark Sanchez, not Tim Tebow, delivering him the ball, he should continue to do well.

Mikel Leshoure RB, Lions: After missing a lot of playing time with a knee injury, Leshoure exploded for 19 points in his return. Although last week he didn't have the best game,  expect him to pick up his production again.

Kevin Kolb QB, Cardinals: In weeks 2,3 and 4, Kolb scored at least 15 points. Last week his production went down, but this week the Cards play the terrible pass defense of the Bills. It also helps that he's throwing to Larry Fitzgerald.

Tony Gonzalez TE, Falcons: Almost every week this year, Gonzalez has produced big numbers for the Falcons. Against the weak Raiders pass defense this week, expect those huge numbers to continue.

Vikings D/ST: The Vikings were projected to finish in the cellar of the NFC North, but surprisingly, they are in contention. Their defense has helped in this surprising run, they have scored the third most points for defenses so far this season.

Theo:

Davone Bess WR, Dolphins: Almost everyone has noticed Brian Hartline, Bess' fellow Dolphin. but they haven't noticed Bess. Davone is fairly consistent and easily can pick up 100+ yards in this week's match-up with the Rams.

Greg Zuerlein K, Rams: Greg is a rookie kicker with a big leg. He has hit from 60 yards in a game with the Seahawks. Fellow rookie kicker Blair Walsh is also a good option.

Javid Best RB, Lions: Javid had a standout season two years ago. With the Lions not having a certain RB, it's his turn to get the full time job.

Rashard Mendenhall RB, Steelers: Mendenhall is fully healed and ready to go. He showed that he is ready in his last game with a 100+ yard game and a TD. Expect him to be this way through the whole season.

Micheal Crabtree WR, 49ers: Micheal never really blossomed since he joined the NFL but I think now is the time. Alex Smith is a good QB so he'll have plenty of catches, TDs, and yards.
